Hockey is back!!! I attended the opening night for the Carolina Hurricanes. I had a great time. The team came out on top in shoot out, 5-4. Really, the game should have ended w/ them 4-3, but the refs clearly can’t determine what goalie interference is & isn’t. Let’s not mention the missed calls that the refs clearly weren’t seeing.
Besides the bad officiating, the Hurricanes have to work on their opp. We had a 5 on 3 & no score. They couldn’t even get a play together...A small tweak is needed. With all of those obstacles, I have to say we are locking good. The crowd was back, & the team appears to be a playoff team.
P.S. I support the two captains. Both Staal & Faulk earned it.
